I always try to live my life and treat people based on the perspective offered from one of my favorite quotes of all time...

Today, I encourage you to make it your mission to make people feel good; even go out of your way to do it! Choose to be the kind of somebody that makes everybody feel like a somebody. And do it straight from the heart, unconditionally, expecting nothing in return.

It doesn’t take much - a smile, a kind word, a hug. As humans, we are hard wired for connection…connection to each other. And every day, we have dozens of opportunities to not only connect; but, actually lift someone’s spirits.

If we could just remember that, every time we cross the path of another human being, we have an opportunity to make a positive impact and that, in turn, it will positively impact us and our day, oh that could be huge. I can promise you that all those, albeit small, deposits will add up quickly to become a gigantic win-win reward for you and those you come in contact with. I mean, why wouldn’t we do this? Why wouldn’t we come from a place of love and kindness in general? It doesn’t take much more, if any more energy that walking by someone without noticing them at all.
